Watercolor Card with Jar of Flowers

Although I’m not a huge fan of coloring with alcohol markers,  I must say I do enjoy using colored pencils.  This card uses lots of pencils and the stamp set, Jar of Flowers.

The card base is Gorgeous Grape, and the card front is Basic White.

The flowers, stems and were all stamped using Memento ink.  It was all colored in using watercolor pencils and then blended using a blender pen.  The stamped image of the jar is covered with an additional stamped image of the jar that was stamped onto a window sheet so close up it looks like a glass vase.  A bit of braided burlap finishes off the beautiful flower arrangement.

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and is inked in Gorgeous Grape.

A few rhinestone jewels were scattered for an added bit of bling . . . you can never have enough bling.

The inside sentiment is also from the Peaceful Moments and inked using Gorgeous Grape.
