Vellum Embossed Wedding Card

Week three of March Technique Tuesday — embossing folders — shows how running vellum paper through an embossing folder transforms the paper into a beautiful accent.

For this card, I decided to make a wedding card. the base is Basic White, the mat piece is Petal Pink, and the card front is Mint Macaron.

The vellum strips measure 3/4″ x 5. They were embossed with the Greenery embossing folder. I scattered a few pearls to dress it up a bit.

The bottom left side features a fluffy bow made from the gorgeous White Organza ribbon.

The bottom right features a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments set, stamped in Petal Pink. The tag was die cut from Basic White using one of the dies in the Ornate Frames set. I lightly ran a bit of Petal Pink along the edges so that it would pop when adhered to the card. Of course I added some more pearls!

The inside sentiment is also from the Peaceful Moments set and is also stamped in Petal Pink.
