Touches of Texture Diagonal Fold Card

This is a variation of one of the cards we made at last week’s Diagonal Fun Fold card.  It requires  a few diagonal cuts, but it’s really pretty  easy to make.  To see the class card, scroll to the bottom of the post.

The base is a piece of 8  1/2 x 11 cardstock cut diagonally from one of the top corners to the opposite bottom corner.  The card front has a mat layer as well as a piece of DSP.

The inside of the card also has a mat piece to make it a bit more interesting than just plain white!

The card is kept closed by a belly band made with a piece of ribbon and a stamped medallion.

The belly band on this version changes up the look a bit and makes it a bit more delicate.

The front still has the same medallion that is attached to one of the flaps, but the belly  band is made by making a bow out of ribbon.
