Sweet Rose Embossed Card using Dressed to Impress

The Dressed to Impress stamp set is such a fun set with the images of lipstick, perfume and shoes, but I decided to use it to make a delicate card, using the images of roses.  I made the card as a Mother’s Day card, but it could be used for any occasion by simply changing the sentiment.

The base of the card and the card front are Petal Pink. The mat is Basic White,

The roses were stamped using Versamark ink and then heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I scattered some tiny Basic Pearls among the roses to add an additional touch of softness.

The sentiment was also heat embossed using White embossing powder.

I added a bow made with the Petal Pink Veriegated ribbon(retired)  I think it fits the card’s design perfectly!

To see how the card was made, click on the video below. NOTE:  if the video does not appear below, you can see it by clicking HERE.   Also, after I made the video, I made a few changes to the card’s design, so it looks a bit different!

If you have any questions about this project or any of the products used, please let me know.

Happy Stampin’!
