Sweet as a Peach Birthday Card

I made this birthday card for my mother-in-law.  She loves angel food cake with fresh whipped cream and peaches, so I thought this card would be perfect to accompany the cake I made for her.  It was a success!

My goal was to make a clean and simple card.  I’m not usually good at keeping it clean and simple . . . I always feel like something is missing.  Although this card has some dimension and bling,  I think I managed to keep it clean and simple .. . what do you think?

The card front  is die cut using the larges die from the Stitched Rectangle set.  It is mounted on a half sheet of Pale Papaya.

I stamped the foliage in the upper left corner using Pear Pizzazz.  The small peaches were stamped using the Sweet as a Peach set, and die cut using the coordinating Peach die set.  They were adhered to the foliage with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The leaves on the peaches were die cut from Pear Pizzazz with dies from the Peach Die set that cut and emboss.

The sentiment also comes from the Sweet as a Peach set, and the tiny blossoms are from the Peach dies.  The center of the blossoms were adorned with some Basic Pearls.

The inside sentiment is also from the Sweet as a Peach set.
