Sponging Sympathy Card

Sponging is one of my favorite techniques . . . although I don’t do it often enough.  It adds a softness to the project, which is perfect for a sympathy card.

The base of the card is Thick Whisper White, and the sponged panel is Whisper White.  That’s all the cardstock I used . . . quick and simple.

The background was sponged using Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz inks.  The tree was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black.  A simple, organza bow added just the right touch.

The inside sentiment is from the Kindness and Compassion stamp set.
