I’ve been wanting to try this technique for a while, and finally got the chance to this weekend. I made this card as a thank you card for a customer who ordered the Seashells Embossing Folder. I envisioned creating a seashell scene, with colored seashells and a shimmery blue background to mimic a bubbly ocean floor.
Unfortunately, the pictures don’t really capture the full effect of the finished card.
I embossed a piece of Very Vanilla card stock with the Seashells Folder. I applied ink to each of the raised images using a sponge dauber. Then I filled a water spritzer a bit of water, a few drops ofPool Party Reinker and a few drops of Frost Shimmer Paint. I then spritzed the entire card front. Once it was dry, I attached it to a Pool Party card base.
