Send a Card to a Friend Day

Did you know that February 7 is National Send a Card to a Friend Day?  This is the card I made to send to my friends — it’s super quick to make in multiples!

The background is from the Simply Marvelous DSP stack, which is a FREE item during Sale-A-Bration (with a $50 order).  It’s not too busy, but fills up the card front nicely.  I used the Biggest Wish stamp set because the images were so large, they also filled up the card front nicely.  The card base is Pool Party, with a Basic White mat and then the gorgeous DSP which is also Pool Party.  The DSP pack has some beautiful colors!

The images were heat embossed using Silver Embossing Powder.  I love heat embossing, especially with the gorgeous metallic.  I added a sweet little bow made from some soft Pool Party ribbon that I had in my stash.

The inside sentiment was stamped using Pool Party ink, and the sentiment is from the Daisy Lane stamp set.
