“Rustic” Christmas Card with Pine Woods Dies

I use the term “rustic” loosely with this card, but I thought the burlap really did make this a bit more rustic.  The card front is raised slightly with Stampin Dimensionals, and out just adds the perfect dimension to the card.

I cut the green part of the three from Garden Green and layered it onto the die cut of the solid tree in Whisper White.  I thought the white peeking through gave the impression of snow on the tree branches.

I added a strip of Braided Burlap across the bottom and tied a knot using a piece of the gingham ribbon in the Flowers for Every Occasion Ribbon Pack

I think my favorite part of the card, though, is the embossing of the DSP. I embossed the beautiful snowflakes with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder.
