The Poppy Moments dies is among my favorites (I have LOTS of favorites!). This simple, elegant card is one of the reasons.
This time I decided to go with a large border as well as a very thin mat. I think that contrast adds to the elegance of the card. The base is Flirty Flamingo; the mat is Basic Black; and the card front is Basic White.
I die cut three of the smaller poppies from the Poppy Moments dies. The background is Poppy Parade; the detailed poppy is Basic Black, and the stamen is Daffodil Delight. The leaves are made with Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz.
The sentiment is stamped from the Painted Poppies set. It is inked in Poppy Parade. The ovals were made using the retiring Stitched Shapes Dies. The finishing touch is a bow made with ribbon ink Flirty Flamingo.
The inside sentiment is inked in Poppy Parade and is also from the Painted Poppies set.
