Now that the holidays are over, it’s time to send out thank you notes for all the thoughtful gifts you received, and here’s a beautiful card and matching envelopes that will hopefully be an inspiration for you! I used the Peaceful Boughs stamp set and the coordinating Beautiful Boughs dies as well as the Daisy Delight stamp set (for the sentiment).
Although beautiful, the design is prettysimple — just some stamping/die cutting in the upper corner and “Thank You” in the bottom corner.
The greenery was stamped using Mossy Meadow and colored in using the fine tip of the Old Olive Stampin’ Write marker. Both layers of the pinecones were die cut from Soft Suede. I added a bit of Wink of Stella to give them a bit of glimmer. The corner was “tied” together using Old Olive sheer ribbon.
I added an image of the smaller greenery on the inside of the card to dress that up. It is also stamped using Mossy Meadow.
When this thank you note arrives in the mail, the recipient will know it’s a special note with the nicely stamped outside of the envelope. Stamping the outside of the envelope really makes the notecard and envelope look like a special set. Remember, no naked enveloopes!
