Party Puffins Birthday Card

These little puffins are so cute!!!  When I was making this card, I didn’t know which stamp I wanted to use first; I love them all!!

I decided to go with the cute little guy wearing a birthday hat.

The puffin was stamped using Memento Black, and was colored in using watercolor pencils and a blender pen.

The sentiment is stamped using Bermuda Bay.  The cake was stamped with Memento and colored in with the watercolor pencils.  I added some Wink of  Stella on the candle flames as well as on the cake frosting.  A few Rhinestone Jewel were also added (of course)!  So that the images wouldn’t look like they were “floating”, I used Early Espresso watercolor pencil and a blender pen to ground them.

Since this is a birthday card, I decided to “wrap” the card front with a delicate bow in the corner.  This is retired Calypso Coral seam binding.

The inside simple has two sentiments as well as images of three candles, which were colored with Watercolor Pencils.
