Partial Emboss Technique

This is installment 4 of March’s Technique Tuesday which focused on embossing folders. This card shows how you can emboss just a portion of your paper, thus, a partial emboss.

The card base is Poppy Parade, with a tiny mat in Old Olive. The Card front is Basic White which has been partially embossed using the Brick and Mortar 3D embossing folder.

The middle section of the card was embossed and then inked with Cajun Craze ink.

The left side of the card has a sweet strawberry that was stamped from the Sweet Strawberry set and punched out using the Strawberry Builder punch. The leaf is flush on the card front, but the strawberry is popped up using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The right side of the card has a tag which was stamped using the Sweet Strawberry set and die but using the Tailor Made Tags die set. I mounted the tag onto a small scrap of Daffodil Delight paper and hand trimmed it to have a tiny mat. I added a small knot made from some old cotton ribbon in Daffodil Delight.
