This card was fun to design and make. I wasn’t really sure what look I was going for, but it ended up coming out pretty nicely!
I attached the Lovely Lipstick to the Pineapple Punch and then attached the smaller of the two Whisper White pieces toward the top of the Lovely Lipstick. I stamped the larger of the two Whisper White pieces using the Marble background stamp inked up with Lovely Lipstick and then attached that to the Lovely Lipstick piece.
I used three pieces of the new In Color ribbon in Pineapple Punch, Blueberry Bushel and Call Me Clover and attached it to all the layers as shown. All the layered pieces were then attached to the card base.
Next I stamped the sentiment on the Whisper White using the Painted Glass stamp set, inked in Lovely Lipstick.
On a scrap piece of Whisper White I stamped the butterfly from the Painted Glass stamp set using Black Archival ink. Using a blender pen and four of the new In Colors (Lovely Lipstick, Call Me Clover, Blueberry Bushel and Pineapple Punch), I colored in the butterfly. It was die cut using the coordinating Stained Glass framelits and attached with glue dots. I bent the wings up a bit to give it some dimension.
Seems like a lot of steps, but it really was a pretty quick process! I hope you’ll give it a try. If you have any questions about this project or any of the products used, please be sure to let me know!
