Make Your Own Polka Dot Paper with Sponge Daubers

Have you ever needed a specific color polka dot paper and you didn’t have it?  Well, here’s a quick way to make your very own using a sponge dauber.

Making the patterned paper was just a matter of inking the dauber and daubing the Basic White paper.  The card base is Mango Melody; the middle mat piece is Bermuda Bay; and the card front is Basic White.

The “happy” was inked with Mango Melody ink.  The stamp is from the retiring Well Said set.  It was punched out using the retiring Classic Label punch.  See the video below to see how I adjusted the size of the white punched tag.  I added a little knot from some Bermuda Bay stitched ribbon as well as added some Jewel Rhinestones.  The”birthday” is die cut from the  retiring Well Written die set.  The paper is Bermuda Bay.  I added a coating of Wink of Stella to add some shimmer and shine.  Lastly I scattered some rhinestone jewels randomly around the card front.

To see how the card was made, click on the video below. NOTE:  if the video does not appear, you can see it by clicking HERE.
