Make Your Own Glimmer Paper, Part 1

Oh my, what a messy, awesome time I had trying different technques to make my own glimmer paper.  I’ll be posting three different techniques that are super cool!

This card was made using the Sunshine Sayings stamp set.  The directions to make the glimmer paper are in the video at the end of this post.

Once the glimmer paper was made, the flowers were colored in using Melon Mambo and Blushing Bride Stampin’ Write Markers.  I added a bit more blig with jewel rhinestones in the centers of the flowers.

The card base was embossed using the Subtle embossing folder.  I added a doily for some texture and stamped a sentiment on it.  Of course, I added a bow as the final touch.

This card below was made  in mostly the same way.  The difference is that I colored the image before I made the glimmer paper.

If you have any questions about this technique, the project or any of the products used, please let me know.  I’m always happy to help!
Happy Stampin’!
