This is the Valentine’s Day card that I sent to all of my customers. I wanted to do something that was “out of the box”, and decided to go with chickens. It took me a while to get them all done, but my customers are so worth every minute!
I decided to make coordinating envelopes to make it more special.
The card base is Thick Basic White with a small Real Red mat. The card front is Basic White. To fill up some space, I scored three horizontal lines along the bottom and three vertical lines along the side using my Scoreboard.
The adorable chicken was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black and colored in with mixture of Stampin’ Blends — Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie. The balloon was colored in using Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends.
The heart on the balloon and at the bottom of the card were die cut in Real Red using the heart dies from the Gumball Machine dies. A Basic Rhinestone Jewel in the balloon is just the right amount of bling.
The outside sentiment is from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set and was stamped in Real Red.
The inside sentiment and three little hearts in the corner were stamped using the Gumball Greetings stamp set, and were stamped in Real Red.
