Happy, Happy, Happy (dies) Birthday!

The Happy Dies are so much fun!  Although I only used the main die and a couple small ones, the set has LOTS of great dies.  For this card, I chose to use some bright colors to add to the cheery feel of the card.

The base is Melon Mambo, and the background mat is Bermuda Bay.

I die cut the “happy” three times and had them all connected.  The were attached using Foam Adhesive strips to give a nice shadow look while adding some dimension.

I stamped “birthday” from the coordinating stamp set, So Much Happy, in Bermuda Bay.  I love the font, and the contrast between the “Happy” and “birthday”.

The balloons were die cut from the smaller balloon die in the set.  I used Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay for the cardstock.  The bow is also in Melon Mambo, and the string is in Basic Gray.  To add some dimension, I made a little curved line on each ballon using a white gel pen.
