Forever Fern and Birch Holiday Card

This holiday card is a great choice for those who have to mass produce lots of cards.  Although it comes together quickly, it certainly doesn’t look that way.

The secret to this gorgeous card is the background stamp – the Birch stamp.

I decided to stamp the sentiment, which is from the Merry Snowflakes set, directly onto the card front (which is something I don’t usually do — I’m a huge fan of tags!).  I used Cherry Cobbler ink so it would stand out nicely.

The top corner did require a bit of work with the stamping and die cutting of the foliage, but that went pretty quickly.  I hid the point where the die cuts all came together with a beautiful bow.  The stamps are from the Forever Ferm set, and the dies are from the Forever Flourishing set.

The inside sentiment is also from the Merry Snowflakes stamp set, which is retiring on January 3, so be sure to get yours before they’re gone!  I love how the important words in the sentiment are bolded and in a different font from the rest.
