Flip Top Gift Card “Present”

I’m pretty sure that everyone on my list who is getting a gift card this holiday  season will be getting the gift card in one of these gift card holders!  Super simple to make, and it’s just so darn cute!  Easily adaptble for any occasion.  Picture it for a baby, to hold a coffee gift card, for a bridal shower gift, as a masculine gift holder.   The possibilities are endless!

The gift card holder is A2 size, so it fits into a standard envelope, although it really doesn’t neeed an envelope because when it’s closed it looks just like a present.

Once the top is lifted, a gift card peeks out and moves up on the inside.

The bow is made using the Bow Builder punch, and it just makes the gift card holder look so special!

I’ve done these three in holiday paper, but it can be changed up to fit any occasion.  I have a baby shower to go to soon, and the gift card holder will be adapted for that occasion!

The gift card holder takes minimal supplies.  the card base is 4 1/4 x 11 so you can get two from one piece of card stock. The DSP is 4 x 5, the insert is 3 1/4 x 4 1/4, and the bow and vertical paper ribbon all came out of my scrap stash!
