Envelope Fun Fold Pansy Card

I made a version of this fun fold a couple months ago using the fun Sweet Strawberry stamp set.  I did the angle calculations myself and, truth be told, I had to do it a couple of times!  I must say, making this envelope card was so much easier.  First off, I used the Basic Borders Die and making the angle was a piece of cake.  Additionally, I didn’t need any stamps or inks — I used only the Pansy Petal Designer Series Paper and Pansy Dies.

This is the top flap of the envelope card.  Directions on how to make the layered flap are in the video below.  The pansies ad the leaves are all images that are on the Pansy Petal DSP.  They were cut out using the Pansy Dies.  I thought it was so awesome that the die set included dies to cut them out.

This is the bottom part of the envelope.  The directions on how to get that perfectly die cut angle is in the vide below.

This is the inside of the card.  I didn’t stamp anything on it and will do that when I’m ready to send it.

The card stays closed using these tiny self-adhesive velcro dots (Amazon).  They are 3/8″ in diameter and are the perfect way to keep the card closed.  This is the bottom dot.

This is the top of the flap.  A handy tip on how to align the velcro is in the video below.
