Here’s another way to use your card stock to make beautiful cards — emboss it and use it as an overlay. The pictures don’t do it justice, so I hope you will watch the video at the end of the post to see it so much clearer!
The vellum is used as the card base and the butterfly on the card stock beneath that is colored with Stampin Blends. Their colors a muted when the card is closed. I chose to do the embossing in gold to give the card a more special look.
I used Stampin Blends to boldly color the butterfly. Although it is nice and bright, it takes on a diffeent look when the vellum is overlaid on it.
