Embossed and Watercolored Rose

Floral Essence is one of my favorite new sets in the 2019-2020 catalog.  For this card, I heat embossed the flower with gold embossing powder and then watercolored it with a layer of craft ink followed by Rococo Rose.  The craft ink base gives the flower an elegant, soft look.   Unfortunately, the gold embossing does not show up too well on the pictures below, but you can see it nicely on the bottom right flower in the first picture.

I stamped one flower in the upper left corner of the card and added some leaves, which were stamped off of the base to give it a more realistic look.  The leaves were not colored in, but the rose was first colored using white craft ink with an aqua painter and then topped with a light coat of Rococo Rose, using the reinker and aqua painter.

The bottom right corner also has a rose, but some of this rose was stamped off of the card base.  I added some leaves to this rose as well and a few more along the top and bottom of the base.

The sentiment, which is from the same stamp set, is also heat embossed with gold.  The sentiment is perfect for a wedding, although it could be used for more occasions as well.
