A handmade card is a treasure, but why stop with the outside of the card? Make the card even more special by decorating the inside of the card as well as decorating the accompanying envelope so it’s all like a special package.
The envelope was subtly decorated using the stamp of the leaves from the set. It’s a small touch, but perfect for the card since the DSP is a bit busier than usual.
The card is decorated with strips of DSP from the Daisy Delight collection. The strips are bordered with Old Olive and Calypso Coral cardstock, making a nice border.
The daisy was stamped in Calypso Coral ink on Calypso Coral cardstock and punched with the Daisy punch. To give the daisy some dimension, I carefully curled the petals using a bone folder. The center of the daisy is Daffodil Delight and punched using the 1/2″ circle punch.
I carried the design of the DSP bordered with the cardstock into the inside of the card. Although it takes up over an inch of space, there is still enough room to write a nice note.
