An adorable strawberry heart!

Although the Meant to Be stamp set is perfect for Valentine’s Day and other such themes, we can think outside the box and make it into my favorite fruit — strawberry!

Yup … that adorable strawberry was made using the small stitched, scalloped heart die from the Be Mine dies that coordinates with the Meant to Be stamp set.

Isn’t it cute!?  The strawberry heart was die cut using Real Red card stock.  I die cut the leaves from Garden Green card stock and then placed all the tiny cut outs back into the leave.  I love it!

The sentiment was stamped in Real Red from a the Meant to Be stamp set. The DSP comes from a discontinued pack called “Gingham Gala”, but any similar paper would work great — imagine a tiny printed floral or a polka dot . . .

The bottom portion of the card front is Daffodil Delight which was embossed with the Subtle embossing folder.  The finishing touch is a piece of thick Real Red twine to tie everything together (no pun intended!)

Check out the video below for instructions and for an alternate way to do the sentiment.  NOTE:  If the video does not appear, you can see it by clicking HERE.  The products used are linked below.
