Adorable Vampire Coffin Treat Box

How adorable is this little vampire?  These coffin treat boxes are a perfet way to give a Halloween treat to all your little goblins!  My coffin was inspired by a fellow demo, Barbara Lash.  I made a few changes to her design, which you can see at the end of this post.

The coffins are big enough to fit about5 mini chocolates or a bag filled with candy corn.

The top of the box was embossed using the new Stylish Scroll embossing folder. I thought it just added a perfect touch.

The vampire was stamped using the Spooktacular Bash stamp set.  He was colored using Stampin’ Blends, and the dies are from the Ornate Frames Die Set.  The ribbon is a retired piece of black satin, but thre is a new Blac, Scalloped Edge Ribbon that would be perfect as well.

I trimmed the edge of the top of the coffin using a piece of DSPP from the Monster Bash collection.  The strip was cut at 1/4″

I filled a 2″ x 8″ cello bag with Candy Corn and tied it with some bakers twine which was offered in last year’s holiday catalog.  It is Basic Black, Whisper White, and Pumpkin Pie, but any coordinating bakers twine would work great.

My project was inspired by this one made by a fellow demo, Barbara Lash.  Below is her project.
