Acrylic Block Stamping

Acrylic blocks are perfect to make backgrounds with a beautiful watercolor effect.  This peaceful sympathy card was quick and easy to make.

The technique simply is running the thick end of a Stampin’ Write marker on the block,  and spritzing it with water.  You can watch the technique in the video below.

The sky was made using Balmy Blue marker.  The birds are stamped in Memento  Black.  They are from the  High Tide stamp set.

The ocean section is used using Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Write Marker.  The ripples are from the High Tide stamp set and are stamped with Bermuda Bay ink.

The bottom section is made using Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write marker.  The blades of grass are from the High Tide stamp  set and are stamped using Pear Pizzazz ink.  The sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Greetings, and is stamped using Bermuda  Bay.
