This is a card I made for the parents of a new adorable little boy! I used the Something for Baby set and did a bit of heat embossing to give the card some dimension.
The card base is Marina Mist, and the card front is Whisper White. I used the Layering Squares to make the four squares. Each square has one image from the stamp set which is die cut using the coordinating Baby’s First framelits — the duck is embossed with Crushed Curry embossing powder; the bib is stamped in Pool Party, and the little heart is embossed with blushing bride embossing powder (I used some embroidery floss to make the bib ties); the booties are embosssed with some very old embossing powder, simply labeled “light blue”; and the safety pin is embossed with silver embossing powder. the sentiment is also from the Something for Baby set. I didn’t take a picture of the inside of the card, but it says “for your cute little someone.” Even with all the heat embossing, this card came together pretty easily. The parents liked the card just as much as, if not more than, the present!!
